Ways to volunteer
We provide roles for volunteers across a number of Coastline’s teams including our Homeless Service, Miners Court Extra Care and Housing Services. These roles are open to all, including customers and non-customers. Â
This enables customers of Coastline's Homeless Service to volunteer within the service with additional support. It provides essential employability skills and a positive focus during their stay.
This group of customers living in Miners Court Extra Care befriend new customers, assist with events and help staff with keeping the scheme a welcoming place to live.
This group of customers are supported to donate their time by getting involved in the scrutiny of the organisation, shaping service design and delivery as part of the wider involvement and engagement model. The Customer Voice group is at the heart of what we do at Coastline. With a wide range of skills, they ensure that Coastline is upholding our commitments to customers, through reviewing our services and making recommendations to the Customer Experience Committee that reflect our customers’ priorities.
