We want everyone to feel understood, supported and able to thrive at work.
Coastline is committed to ensuring all colleagues receive support they might need, through our membership of support organisations and by encouraging creation of company networks and groups.
This page features our current offers, but we are always interested in hearing about more ways to continue the development of our welcoming workplace.
Menopause Pledge
We're committed to creating a workplace where anyone experiencing menopause or perimenopause, and those supporting them, feels understood, valued and fully supported. Our aim is to foster an open, compassionate culture where colleagues can talk about their experiences without stigma.
To uphold this commitment, we provide a range of resources and opportunities designed to meet people wherever they are in their journey. This includes: our colleague led Menopause Café, a safe, informal space to share experiences and learn together; tailored training for colleagues and managers; and wellbeing resources and practical support tools to help individuals manage symptoms and feel empowered. We also provide training to managers and colleagues.

Neuroinclusion
Neurodiversity covers a wide range of thinking and communication styles and experiences, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s and more. These differences bring huge strengths, creativity and perspectives to our organisation. Our aim is to create a workplace where those strengths are recognised, valued and where barriers are removed wherever possible.
We have a colleague-led Neurodiversity Network for anyone with a personal interest in neurodiversity. We meet informally every few months to share experiences, offer support and work together to make positive, meaningful changes.
That means we all have a part to play - whether you're neurodivergent or neurotypical, diagnosed or not, if you have an expert knowledge already or are new on the journey to discovery.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Coastline is committed to giving fair and equal treatment to people irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, caring responsibilities, religion/belief or sexual orientation. We will challenge unfair treatment and discrimination. You can read more about our company-wide commitment in our equality, diversity and inclusion section.
Coastline is a Disability Confident Leader and guarantees to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for our vacancies.

Mindful Employer
Coastline is recognised as a Mindful Employer. This is a national initiative supporting employers to take a positive approach towards mental health at work. It signifies an organisation's public commitment to supporting staff mental health, preventing discrimination in the recruitment process, and fostering an inclusive workplace where employees feel safe asking for help.
You can read more about mental health support on our working with us page. [LINK TO NEW PAGE]

Women in Business Network
During 2026 a number of colleagues at Coastline established a Women in Business Network, open to all females and those supporting females at Coastline. It’s a connecting, sharing and supporting group that meets around once a quarter and is a great way to help provide additional support and guidance for women of all ages looking to further develop their careers.
