Close to the centre of town, this is the only Extra Care scheme in mid and west Cornwall and provides self-contained homes for older people who need more support than sheltered housing, but would like to remain independent.
Miners Court has 64 self-contained flats let on assured tenancies, a range of communal facilities, a restaurant, guest suite as well as care and support staff on-site 24 hours a day. It is designed to allow residents to live independently while having the reassurance of full-time care and support if needed.
To qualify for accommodation at Miners Court you must require or have in place an eligible care and support package.

Beauty salon - this is open for residents and non-residents to come in for a range of hair and beauty treatments. Please call 07961 566205 for further details and a price list.
Assisted bathing - a luxury assisted bathroom and wet room is available for independent use. Please contact us to confirm pricing and make a booking.
Canteen - open seven days a week to residents and non-residents, serving breakfast from 9am and lunch from 12pm every day.
If you think you might need help paying for care and support please contact Cornwall Council.
Its Adult Social Care department can provide an assessment on request. An occupational therapist will visit to look at your current home and needs, then discuss what options are available.
