Coastline Homeless Service

If you are homeless or may lose your home, help and advice is available from the Coastline Homeless Service.

Our Homeless Service at Chi Winder in Pool is open only to current residents during the coronavirus outbreak. If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness please contact Cornwall Council's Prevention & Engagement team on 0300 1234 161.

If you are homeless

You should also contact a Housing Options Officer at Cornwall Housing. They will try to help you find somewhere to live in the short term, and offer assistance to find a long term home. Call 0300 1234 161 or take a look at the homeless advice section on the Cornwall Housing website.

Coastline Homeless Service

Based at Dudnance Lane in Pool, our service is for homeless and vulnerably housed adults, or anyone who is concerned about their housing or financial situation.

The day centre is where you can go for information, advice, referrals, and activities and courses.

Our nine supported accommodation houses across Camborne, Pool and Redruth offer accommodation for up to two years in shared houses monitored by support workers.

There are also specially trained Reconnection staff who are able to access funds to help you move from Cornwall to an area where you have a local connection.

In person, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm at Chi Winder, Dudnance Lane, Pool.

Homeless Service Recipe book

Throughout the year, volunteers based at Coastline Homeless Service run cooking workshops every Monday and Friday at the Day Centre, teaching homeless clients how to cook delicious meals on a budget.

The recipes that have been cooked throughout the past year have been put together in a Recipe Book which has been distributed to current clients of the service to enjoy throughout 2019.

Please find the recipe book attached at the bottom of this page for you to have a look at and potentially use yourself during the year!
