They usually tell you that if you let them into your home they will help you claim compensation from your landlord for any repairs that they find.
Most of these companies are trying to make money from landlords such as Coastline and often customers do not get any at all. In fact sometimes, if you change your mind or the disrepair case is unsuccessful, they may ask you to pay for their costs which can be hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
