We are excited to announce the launch of our Customer Star Award - a monthly celebration of the amazing customers in our communities who go the extra mile to support their neighbours and improve the places we live in.
Why are we launching this award?
At Coastline, we believe in recognising and celebrating the everyday heroes among us. Whether that is through helping a neighbour, tidying up shared spaces or simply spreading kindness, these acts make a big difference – and we want to shine a light on them.
What are the aims of the award?
- To recognise customers who go above and beyond to support others
- To build community by encouraging connection and belonging
- To build trust by listening and valuing customer contributions
- To promote engagement by showing how valued customer contributions are
What kind of contributions can be nominated?
Here are just a few examples to give you some food for thought, but we welcome any nominations you wish to make:
- Support champion – someone who has been a source of comfort to others
- Knowledge sharer – a customer who has helped others engage with Coastline's services
- Green space guardian – someone who keeps personal/shared outdoor areas tidy
- Community builder – a customer who brings people together
- Positive presence – a customer who has shown kindness
- Meaningful progress maker – someone making great strides in their tenancy
- And any other contribution you can think of - feel free to be creative!
How do I nominate?

Both Coastline customers and colleagues are invited to nominate at any time, and we process nominations on a rolling monthly basis, so you can highlight great contributions as they happen.
What happens next?
Nominations will be reviewed monthly by our Community Investment Team and a winner will be selected on the second Monday of each month.
We will contact winners with the good news and each one will receive a Housing Perks or Love 2 Shop voucher.
