Improving energy efficiency of our homes

We’re committed to becoming a leader in the sector on sustainability. By undertaking extensive work to deliver on this ambition, we will help our customers keep warm and save money.

Heating control

Our achievements:

  • spent £10m to make our homes more energy efficient
  • helped our customers save more than £360,000 on their utility bills
  • introduced fuel vouchers to support those most in need
  • worked with British Gas to make it easier for vulnerable customers to access support

Air source and ground source heating

As part of our journey to improve the energy efficiency of Coastline homes, we have been installing ground source heating and air source heating in some properties.

Our thanks go to Blue Flame for working with us to produce two videos explaining how these heating systems work and the ways in which customers can get the best results from them.

Thanks also to the Coastline customers who got involved with this project and were happy to show off their new heating systems.
