Sustainability Reporting Standard

As part of Coastline’s ongoing commitment to becoming more sustainable, we are official adopters of the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) to ensure that we maintain high quality Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting.

We believe ESG reporting offers another route for highlighting the efforts of Coastline and is useful in benchmarking the key outputs to others in the housing sector. This ensures we understand both our absolute and relative performance.

By adopting the standard, we can make more meaningful decisions, taking into account both our customers’ needs and the environmental impact of our actions and business activities.

Improving energy efficiency of our homes

We’re committed to becoming a leader in the sector on sustainability. By undertaking extensive work to deliver on this ambition, we will help our customers keep warm and save money.

Air source and ground source heating

As part of our journey to improve the energy efficiency of Coastline homes, we have been installing ground source heating and air source heating in some properties.

Our thanks go to Blue Flame for working with us to produce two videos explaining how these heating systems work and the ways in which customers can get the best results from them.

Thanks also to the Coastline customers who got involved with this project and were happy to show off their new heating systems.
