For your community
Ways for you to get involved with your community
British Red Cross and Camborne
The British Red Cross is currently trying to understand how it can be more community led in its work, and is starting by getting to know more about local communities. One of those communities is Camborne!
If you live and work in the town, you are the experts so the British Red Cross wants to hear directly from you!
Join its team for an hour on Tuesday 9th March or Saturday 13th March to discuss Camborne, its strengths, challenges and to understand the goals of people locally.

Pool Vision
Cornwall Council is currently developing a masterplan called Pool Vision.
The Pool Vision document will set out the various projects and ambitions that Cornwall Council, the community, education and business partners have for the regeneration of the Pool area in the future. The masterplan document will set out a strategy for the delivery of important projects.
As part of the process the project team is holding an online meeting on 12th March with residents of the area. They will ask about what currently works well in the Pool area, what doesn’t work well, and what could be improved.
The discussion will be informal and be with officers from the Council and an architect/urban designer from Lavigne Lonsdale Consultancy who is assisting with the project. Coastline Housing colleagues will also be attending.
If you would like to join the meeting please email getinvolved@coastlinehousing.co.uk and we will send you a link.
CPIR Green Infrastructure Strategy
Between 10th February and 23rd March, Cornwall Council is consulting on the Camborne Pool Illogan and Redruth Green Infrastructure Strategy. It will look to support and invest in green infrastructure projects, and protect and improve green assets.
