Pre Planning Consulation 

Open from 29th March - 9th April

Coastline Housing secured an option on land at Laity Road in May 2020.  Design and survey work has been progressed since this date to assess the suitability of the site for development.


The scheme being proposed is for 26 new homes and is 100% affordable, comprising 18 x affordable rent properties and 8 x shared ownership properties.  A copy of the current suggested site layout is below.  




















The property types proposed include one bed bungalows and one bed flats, together with two, three and four bed houses – examples of the proposed floor plans can also be viewed below, attached at the bottom of the page.


The homes would come will allocated parking spaces, typically two spaces per property, with the estate road being built to Cornwall Council’s adoptable standards.  The current design allows for two areas of open space, together with an ecology buffer alongside an existing hedgerow.


Eligibility for buying or renting a new home will be subject to local connection criteria.
