Community Standard inspections


To help maintain standards of communal spaces, our Tenancy and Technical Services teams inspect communities to look at things like gardens, grounds maintenance, and health and safety in communal areas. 


Members of the Community Investment team also join the inspections to offer customers support with digital inclusion, signpost to training and support agencies, and help tackle social isolation.


Inspections take place across the year. The number of visits to each area are based on the following categories:

  • Red – monthly inspections
  • Yellow – quarterly inspections: March, June, September and December
  • Green – six-monthly inspections: June and December

Our aim is have to have every area move to at least the yellow category. You can download a list of areas and categories at the foot of this page.
