It's here to help you improve your financial wellbeing, and provide the advice, training, skills and opportunities to get into work, increase your skills, meet new people, and reach your goals.

Everyone is different, and Your Next Step is designed to make sure that you get the support you need, when you need it, in a way that works for you.

Coastline Construct

Coastline runs Coastline Construct to help customers and community members gain experience and employment in the construction industry, through supporting and funding training through to providing site experience on live Coastline sites.

We work with partner agencies and construction companies to create bespoke experiences shaped to meet participants’ specific training goals and employment ambitions. Whether you’re a school leaver with an interest in a trade, fancy a career change, or have been long-term unemployed and are looking for a rewarding job role, get in touch to find out more.

Become a volunteer

Coastline’s volunteer scheme enables customers and community members to donate their time across different areas of the organisation, whilst gaining new skills and meeting new people. It’s a great way to share learning and ideas, share existing knowledge and interests, and help local communities to thrive.

As an Investing in Volunteers accredited organisation, we are proud to recognise and appreciate the positive contribution that volunteers make to Coastline customers and communities.

Training

Coastline offers free training opportunities to all our customers that can help you to develop and build skills for home or work life.

Options range from structured work placements to one-off short courses, plus online courses which can fit in around your schedule. We work with lots of partners to get the right training for your needs, and if you are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit, or any other means tested benefit, the training* is often free.

Support

We know that there is more to getting a job than having the skills and enthusiasm to work. We can talk to you about other areas of your life that you may feel are preventing you from seeking employment, and can either provide advice ourselves, or link you up with one of our brilliant partner agencies.

Topics we can support include: money management and debt advice; accessing foodbank vouchers; support with benefit claims and budgeting; childcare provision; health and wellbeing; and childcare and caring responsibilities.

Funding

If you are eligible for our Building Futures (ESF funded) project, we can provide financial support to help with training course and equipment costs, transport, childcare, and more.
