The New Connection Resource Centre
We are based on Basset road in Camborne and open Monday - Friday from 9am until 3.30pm.
As well as the open access resource centre where you can just enjoy a hot drink and a chat with a listening ear, you can also access various complimentart therapies, housing advice and support as well as activities, training and education opportunities.
We are fortunate enough to employ a drug worker who is a full member of FDAP and can offer tier two harm minimisation advice support and triage assessment. Our Drug Worker is a SMART Auricular Acupuncture accredited practitioner. They can also offer Reiki, Hopi ear Candles and they are a qualified EFT practitioner.
Our Resettlement Team are always happy to help, advise and support anyone with a housing related issue. We have worked hard over the years and have built an excellent relationship with various accommodation providers throughout the county. In the last year the team have secured accommodation for more than 300 people.
The Structured Client Development Coordinator, can offer help advice and facilitation into various activities, education, training, volunteering and even in employment.

Furthermore we are currently in the process of adopting a beach, in spring and summer we are part of a Sustainable Trust Project - its nice to be able to give something back to the local community.
We also have regular visits to The Eden Project as part of their Grand Day Out Initiative.
We also provide a specialist health provision, which is available Monday to Friday provided by Cornwall Health for Homeless team. They have their own surgery on site and there is either a Doctor or Nurse available each day offering morning and/or afternoon surgeries. The criteria to access this service is simple - it is a specific service for those who are homeless and without registration to a mainstream practice.
