Since April 2003, the Supported Housing Service has been funded by Supporting People, who are based in the Adult Social Care Department at County Hall in Truro.
Under our contract with Supporting People, we are committed to providing a standard of service that meets the standards of quality and value for money set out in Supporting People's 'Quality Assessment Framework'.
If you receive Housing Benefit you will also qualify for Supporting People Grant which helps pay the support charges for our service. This will be paid directly to Coastline - you do not have to make a separate claim. However, even if you don't qualify for Housing Benefit there is still a chance that you could be entitled to help with your support charge via the Fairer Charging Scheme. In this case, you will need to apply directly to Supporting People. Your Supported Housing Officer can help you with your application.
