The services that you can expect from us are set out in our Sheltered Housing Service Standards, which is available on request, or you can click below to view it.
When a potentially suitable property is found for you, a Supported Housing Officer will contact you to arrange an accompanied viewing at which time he/she will explain about the sheltered service. Once you move in, the Supported Housing Officer will introduce you to the service and design a Support Plan with you.
A Support Plan identifies your basic needs and the services we need to provide for you. You will also be provided with an 'Introduction to Sheltered Housing Pack', giving you more in-depth information about your particular scheme.
We aim to be sensitive to the varying needs of residents and will try to meet requests from new or existing customers. These might include requests for adaptations to your home because of a disability or providing you with information in a different language or other formats such as Braille, audio cassette or large print.
