Funding For Community Groups

In need of funds?

How can we help your Community Involvement Group

Coastline Housing Limited has always encouraged and financially supported the set up of new Community Involvement Groups, such as Resident Associations.  Coastline feels it is important to financially support existing Community Involvement Groups working within our communities.

With this in mind three different funding streams have been made available to all Community Involvement Groups working within Coastline Housings Communities.

Community Development Annual Support Small Grant Scheme

This scheme can fund start up grants for new Community Involvement groups and also fund annual running costs for Community Involvement Groups already established.

The annual support small grant scheme awards grants from £50 to £300.

The application form and accompanying guidance notes can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Community Development Project & Activity Small Grant Scheme

This scheme can provide small grants for Community Involvement Groups who are embarking on a small, short term project or activity such as a one day event.

The project and activity small grant scheme awards grants from £50 to £300.

The application form and accompanying guidance notes can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Community Development Capital Grant Scheme

The capital grant scheme is funding for longer term community development projects or activities.  Community Involvement Groups who focus on long term projects can help the community to realise long term vision, sustainability and direction compared with short term projects such as one off events.  Examples of long term projects or activities can include:

  • The installation of new children's play equipment; or
  • The setting up of a community wide IT training programme.

The capital grant scheme awards grants from £300 upwards.

The application form and accompanying guidance notes can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
