Coastline Housing’s Development Team is working hard to provide new affordable homes across Cornwall every year.
Coastline Housing: our future
As Coastline Housing launches its new Corporate Plan for 2017-21, we present the story of how we work to build affordable homes for local people in Cornwall. Our mission: Great Homes, Great Services, Great People.
Our new developments
Coastline has a number of new developments either recently completed or under construction across Cornwall. For more information on each please select from the menu on the left.
New developments are delivered through a combination of Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Cornwall Council funding plus Coastline's own private finances.
At the start of 2017 Coastline secured over £19.9m of grant funding from the HCA to develop 499 new homes in Cornwall. Combined with other funding we are committed to building 1,000 new affordable homes for the county by 2021.
We continue to be on the lookout for development sites in the county where more affordable housing could help transform and grow local communities.
Source Development Partnership
Coastline is also part of the Source Development Partnership, a large consortium of housing associations distributed across the south of the UK. For more information take a look at the Source Development Partnership website.
Land Transformation Project
The Development Team runs a Land Transformation Project which considers how existing Coastline land could best be utilised for the benefit of local communities.
