Before you move in, your new home will have been carefully checked to ensure that it meets the standards that our customers have helped us set for the properties we let.
We promise to let our homes in a condition that is
- Safe
- Secure
- Clean
- Well maintained
We will also provide you with clear information about your new home.
If you have special needs, for example, because of illness or disability, we will do our best to ensure that your home is suitable for you, in accordance with our Equality and Diversity Policy. Your Housing Officer can tell you more about the services we can offer.
We will provide you with a copy record of the checks we have made on your new home and let you know how to make comments or complain to us if for any reason you are not happy with the standard of your new home.
We will do our best to meet these standards wherever practicable. If we cannot meet these standards in any particular case we will explain why.
As a customer, we ask that you:
- Keep your home in good condition.
- If you leave your home, to return it to us at the end of your tenancy in the same condition we let it to you.
- To keep to the terms of your tenancy.
