Coastline Star Awards

We have been on the look out to find this year's involvement brightest stars - people or projects that you thought should receive recognition for their work or contribution to involvement during 2011.

Nominations were taken from our communities and judged by a panel of Coastline's customers.
The awards ceremony was part of a day of customer consultation held at the Green Lawns Hotel in Falmouth. Presentations were made to winners and nominees by Shelterbox's Operations Manager, John Leach.
Our congratulations go to the winners and nominees in the 8 categories!

Coastline's Customer Away Day

Our Customer Away Day was held at Paradise Park on 1st September.
Nobody knows the services Coastline provides like our customers do, so on arrival at the park guests visited our interactive consultation zones and answered a few questions.
The four interactive consultation zones:
Spending Spree Zone
With your Coastline Cheque book help us to allocate £12,000 of our Housing Team budget on Legal Costs, Staff Travel Costs, Postage Costs, Printing & Stationary Costs & Staff Uniforms Costs. Where would you spend the money.
Home Sweet Home Zone
Coastline is moving offices, help us design our new reception space.
Vote Wizard Zone
Use the vote pads to tell us what you think about some of the services we deliver and how we can make them better.
‘You Said, We Did’ Zone
We report to all customers annually on how we have changed our services in line with your priorities. Now's your chance to give us your feedback which will help shape next years report.
When customers completed each zone they received a stamp on their reward card. These were traded-in for free entry into Paradise Park including the Jungle Barn, a free £5.00 lunch voucher per person, a free train ride per person as well as other free goodies.
Also during the event customers had the opportunity to:
- Talk to members of the executive team , senior management and customer service advisors
- Access to a private one to one area to discuss confidential matters
- View Coastline information stands
- Feedback to us via our suggestion boxes
You can read an article about the Customer Away Day on pages 8 and 9 of October's issue of our CoastLines magazine.
