Coastline has a variety of ways in which our customers can be involved with us.  here is where we report back to you our most current involvement figures

Annual Report

Coastline Housing's Annual Report to Customers has been mailed out. The report was developed by an Action Team consisting of customers and staff, and through consultation at the Customer Away Day.

It has been designed so that everyone has the opportunity to see what Coastline has been doing during 2010/11, how we have been performing, the successes, and what improvements will be made over the coming twelve months.

The report is divided into 6 colour coded sections as highlighted within the Tenant Services Authority National Framework and complements our Involvement Structure.

A feedback card has been sent with the report so you can let us know what you think about it and how we can improve it for the future.

Some of the comments made by customers at the Customer Away Day about the Annual Report were:

  • “It’s clear informative interesting and accurate. Well done.”
  • “It is informative and easy to understand.”
  • “We understand the report and think it’s a really positive step involving all Coastline customers.”

Customer involvement

Coastline continuously monitors how many of our customers are involved with us.  Currently we have 1320 involved customers. These are broken down into Ambassadors and Friends.

Ambassadors of Coastline Housing are customers who have committed to being regularly involved with us. This could be at Sounding Boards, Action Teams, CRAFT or the Customer Scrutiny Panel.

Friends of Coastline Housing are customers who have been involved with us at a one off activity. Examples include Fun Days, Local Events, Customer Satisfaction Surveys or the Family Away Day.

Coastline values and monitors the time our customers dedicate to being involved with us - whether it's being involved in your own home, your community, making a difference to our services, or being involved with Coastline's scrutiny and governance. 

In the last financial year 2010-11 our customers have dedicated 10,112 hours to being involved with us.

The chart below showcases the breakdown of customer involvement in that period, from April 2010 to March 2011.
