Apply For Funding

The South Kerrier Area Panel at Neighbours Day

If you have a project or an idea that could benefit the wider community, you can apply for funding from Coastline Housing.

We provide grants for local projects and groups to help support thriving communities. To apply, you must have a formal constitution (an example is available to download at the bottom of the page) and be able to demonstrate how your group, project or activity provides a benefit to the community around you.

An Action Team of Coastline Customers meets 4 times a year to look at the funding applications we have received and decide on the awards to be made.

Funds are available

From April 2012 there will be £15,000 in the funding pot so if you are a member of a Community Group, or know one that would benefit from applying for funds, download one of the application forms below.

How to apply

There are three different grants which can be applied for:

  • Community Group Small Grant. For new groups that might need a start-up grant, or to support existing groups with their annual running costs – grants awarded range from £50 to £300.
  • Project and Activity Small Grant. Groups can apply for funds to implement small short term projects or activities such as fun-days – grants awarded range from £50 to £300.
  • Project and Activity Capital Grant. This can provide groups with funds to implement long term projects and activities which will benefit the wider community, such as a series of play sessions or a computer training programme – grants awarded start at £300.

For more information on our grant scheme download the Looking For Funds leaflet and the application forms. If you need help or advice on completing a form e-mail getinvolved@coastlinehousing.co.uk or call 08082 027728.

Once your completed application is received it will be considered by the Community Development Fund Action Team which is made up of Coastline’s customers. They decide which projects to make grants to based upon the potential benefit to the community. This means it is very important that you include as much information as possible in your application.

The closing date for applications to be received by Coastline for the next round of grant awards is 31st March.
