At present we will be keeping our Register of Housing Need open, however, please be aware that the majority of our vacant properties will be advertised through Cornwall Homechoice.

Cornwall Homechoice is the Cornwall wide choice based    lettings  scheme which will enable people wishing to rent a home in the area to have more choice about the property they will live in.

 

All housing providers within Cornwall are working in partnership with Cornwall Council’s Cornwall Homechoice.

 

Vacant properties will be advertised through Cornwall Homechoice and applicants will be invited to ‘BID’ for any property they choose as long as their banding corresponds to the advert.

The property adverts will appear in the Western Morning News, Saturday edition, at local Cornwall Council One Stop Shops and at Cornwall Council’s website www.cornwall.gov.uk/homechoice

For the time being Coastline Housing will be keeping its housing register and transfer list open therefore you can still apply directly to us.

If you are unhappy with any decision about your Homechoice application then you can appeal using the Council's appeals procedure.

 

Should we be unable to let a property through Cornwall Homechoice we will look to our own Register of Housing Need.
