You will pay us a service charge if we provide you with services that are shared with more than one property. For houses, we may clean common areas, such as bin stores, or you may pay towards the upkeep of communal gardens. For flats, we will also charge for providing repairs and lighting to the common parts.
Your lease agreement will explain what services we provide. The lease will also set out your share of the cost of the services.
Your lease may also say that you have to pay us ground rent. This is because we own the freehold of the land on which your property is built.
