Benefit Advice
If you feel that you need help with Benefit Advice or completing application forms, there are many places you can visit where someone will be able to assist.
Coastline Housing will be more than happy to assist you, either by helping you directly or signposting you to another agency with specialist knowledge. If your query is regarding the completion of a Housing Benefit form, Kerrier District Council also has a Visiting Officer, who will assist in completing forms. They can be contacted on 01209 614000. Kerrier District Council also has an officer based in the Redruth Jobcentre on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and can be seen by appointment. Financial Advice
If you are in arrears of your rent and experiencing financial problems, the Citizens Advice Bureau service is the largest provider of free, impartial and independent debt and money advice. Kerrier Citizens Advice Bureau has specialist money advisors who runs advise sessions at county court to help those facing possession action.
The Citizens Advice Bureau's advisors use a structured process to help customers get their debt under control.
