
Arrears Action Days or 'Arrears Blitz Days' involve staff from across the organisation going out and visiting as many customers in arrears as possible.
This helps customers put staff names to faces, lets them discuss their arrears issues, and puts them in touch with help, support and advice.
It also lets us meet and help customers who may not be able to get to our office.
On Arrears Action Days, we can:-
• Work with you to make agreements to clear your arrears (the rent you owe)
• Take payments
• Make referrals to agencies such as the Cititzens Advice Bureau
• Make referrals for additional support
• Advise you about arrears, benefits, what the next stage will be and how to avoid further action.
When are they held?
Arrears Actions Days are run four times a year. Dates are published in our customer newsletter, on our website and in the local media. Please contact the Income Management Team on 0808 2027728 if you would like more information, or would like to receive a visit.
