ActiveLink is run by Coastline - a not-for-profit housing association based in the heart of Cornwall.
We are an accredited provider, offering a reliable, trustworthy and friendly service to over 3,500 customers, many of whom are elderly and disabled. We help people to stay in their own home and keep their independence by offering the support of telecare monitoring equipment, urgent response alarms, a repairs service and much more.
Many customers find this service can sometimes prevent having to make a difficult and costly decision about moving into residential care, when they would really rather stay at home. It can also bring peace-of-mind for carers, knowing that relatives and friends living alone have access to both practical and emergency help.

What does ActiveLink offer?...
The standard ActiveLink package includes the following services:
- provision of telecare monitoring equipment
- a range of emergency button styles to suit you (pendants, brooches, wristbands etc.)
- 24-hour monitoring of alarm call system
- a minimum of two contacts provided by you can be contacted for an urgent response
- repairs and maintenance contract covering the telecare equipment
- Coastline urgent response staff on standby
In addition, you can choose ActiveLink bronze, silver and gold services. These include all the benefits of the standard service, with a few very useful extras.

- daily home visit from a Coastline Supported Housing Officer (five and seven day week options available)
- preferential responsive repairs service
- 24-hour emergency repairs service
- 24-hour urgent response by Coastline staff (in case friends or relatives are not living nearby)
A little extra help?...
If you would benefit from any additional help around the home, you can also choose from the following menu of extra services (priced individually):
- a selection of personal care services (these services include assistance with bathing, showering, washing, toileting and more)
- a selection of domestic care services (including everyday housework, shopping, clothes washing)
- gardening
- decorating
- a range of disabled aids and adaptations
- mobility equipment loan
- home gas and electrical testing services
Our staff
We understand that inviting someone new into your home can be a daunting experience, so we make sure all our staff are highly qualified, experienced, have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau and carry Coastline identification. They are all committed to helping people lead fuller and more independent lives with the minimum of worry.

Ways to pay
When you join ActiveLink, you can choose a payment option that will be most convenient for you. These include paying by Credit Card, Debit Card, Direct Debit or at a PayPoint location in local shops and post offices.
You can also choose whether you pay weekly or monthly.
