Danny has served on Helston Town Council since 1987. Since 1991, Danny has served on various committees at Kerrier District Council including the Staff Appeals Committee, the Licensing Committee and the Housing Appeals Review Panel (North). He is involved with the following Planning Committees - Regeneration (Overview and Scrutiny) of which he is the Vice-Chair, Individual Well Being (Overview and Scrutiny) and Overview and Scrutiny of the Management Board. Danny is also the group Chairman for the Liberal Democrats at KDC and is a Ward Representative for Helston South.
Alongside his Council work, Danny is involved in many community activities including being elected as the Honorary Treasurer for the Helston and District Community Association and Chairman of the Helston Friends of Trengrouse (Nursing Home). Danny is also a School Governor at Nansloe CP School, Helston and serves on their Building and Health and Safety Committees.
He has an in-depth knowledge of local government affairs and is an enthusiastic and active public representative.
