Bjorn Howard

Chief Executive Officer and Non-Executive Director

Bjorn has nearly twenty years sector experience, having worked for housing organisations in East Anglia and the South East before becoming the Company's CEO in September 2003.  Prior to joining Coastline Housing Ltd, Bjorn was Director of Operations for Drum Housing Group Ltd.

In 2005, Bjorn completed an MA in Management with Cornwall Business School and Coventry University.  He passed his Chartered Institute of Housing Professional Qualification in 1995, becoming a Fellow in 2004.  Bjorn has been a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute since 1999.

From 2006 until 2008, Bjorn served as a Housing Corporation Statutory Appointee and subsequently a Co-opted Non-Executive Director on the Board of Teign Housing Association Ltd, based at Newton Abbot.  He was re-appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust in July 2008, following his original appointment in August 2006.

Bjorn also serves on the Board of Coastline Services Ltd.
