Background to your position on the NED Board
Helen has spent 30 years in education, starting as a secondary school teacher and concluding as Vice Principal of an FE College and University centre. She is currently working as a Project Manager for the NHS based in Camborne. Helen has always been interested in the links between education, housing and health and has been involved in a number of community activities linking these three areas. She has spent 8 years on the Board of Devon and Cornwall Housing. She has lived in Cornwall for 23 years. Her stepson lives in Lancaster with his wife and her 11 year old grandson.
Other Interests
Gardening, horse riding (she has a thoroughbred gelding called Skipper) and dog walking her English Bull Terrier ‘Emily’.
