Even though spring has now sprung, Coastline Care took some time out recently to say a big 'thank you' to Coastline Services for helping them out during the winter snow and ice.
During the snowy period, Coastline Services swung into action to help ferry Coastline Care workers around in 4-wheel drives so that crucial care could be delivered to clients who staff could not have otherwise have reached.
Ensuring that our front-line care services are maintained during periods of business disruption is one of our key priorities as it's a lifeline for many. Huge thanks went to Darren Gunn and his team from Anthea Hedge and her team for the valuable help.
Coastline Services also helped some staff who got stranded at Ferris House during the snow get home by driving them in their 4-wheel drives.
Darren Gunn, CSL MD, said: "We were delighted to help out wherever we could to keep crucial services running. We now know that we have a great system in place for swinging into action the next time we get a downfall of snow in Cornwall!"
To show her appreciation, Anthea presented Darren with a Coastline Care picture.
