
The talented winners of the Coastline garden competition came together to exchange tips and techniques and receive their awards at a prize-giving lunch.
The local horticulturists who won first prizes in the contest were taken out for a celebratory lunch at The Old Shire in Camborne. They were joined by Dr John Lander, who is Chairman of Coastline Housing and also one of the garden competition judges.Each of the first class winners received a commemorative cup and a £50 garden centre gift voucher.
The proud winners live in towns and villages across Kerrier including Camborne, Redruth, Helston, Nancegollan and Illogan.
Dr Lander said: “It was a pleasure to meet with the winners and pass on to them, my fellow judge Jeannie Bates and the Coastline staff involved, my thanks for their contributions towards another very successful event.”
