Customer satisfaction on the up

Thumbs up image

Over 95% of people living in a property owned and managed by the Camborne based housing association said they were satisfied with the overall service they received from their landlord.

Coastline Housing sends out a customer satisfaction survey to each of its customers once a year and in the three years since it began formally asking customers for their views, the organisation has seen levels of satisfaction continue to rise. From questions on the quality of their home and the value for money of their rent, to their satisfaction with being kept informed and their views taken into account, customers keep on giving Coastline the thumbs up.

“Listening to the views of our customers and acting on their comments to continually improve our services is at the very heart of our business,” said Kevin Brown, Coastline’s Head of Housing Services. “We are proud to say that we are now in the top 25% of companies in the social housing sector that take customers’ comments into account.

The recent launch of Coastline’s annual report to customers 2010/11 clearly demonstrates the real value the organisation places on involving its customers. The publication was uniquely designed and developed by its customers for its customers.

Mrs Juckes has been living in a Coastline property for 19 years. She fully supports the results of the survey. “I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of support and its provision,” she said. “Coastline is 100% fantastic. The staff help to give me dignity and independence and I am very grateful to them. I would never dream of moving from my home.”
