Fun with numbers

Ben in the stocks

A range of light-hearted number games helped residents on the Pengegon
estate get to grips with the more serious message of managing their finances.

Members of Coastline’s Income Management team certainly made their presence felt when they attended the Pengegon Fun Day in Camborne during August..

Armed with the usual display stand material offering useful information on financial inclusion, the team also decided to bring the fun into finance.

Kirsty Skinner bravely donned a pink pig outfit and became a ‘priceless piggy’ for the day, while Ben Nicholls agreed to total humiliation as he took to the stocks. As part of the ‘stock exchange’ game, people got to answer questions on financial inclusion to be able to throw wet sponges at Ben. If they answered three correctly, they got to slap him in the face with a cream pie. Needless
to say people swotted up on the information boards to get the correct answers!

Residents aged from two to 78 took part and everyone had a great day.
