Residents at Trelawny Court in Camborne are celebrating after successfully completing an introduction to computing course.
The group of residents at Coastline Housing's sheltered housing scheme recently completed a six-week introduction to computing course organised by Coastline and funded by Get Digital and the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education.
From shopping online to producing posters and speaking with family and friends across the world, the folk at Trelawny Court are rightly proud of their achievements.
Get Digital tutor, Kyrstie Mann believes they've all done really well. "Their confidence has come on in leaps and bounds," she said.
Supported Housing Officer, Shelly Goslin commented: "It's great to see everyone embracing technology and really enjoying it."
The course is part of a wider initiative by Coastline to encourage and enable more of its residents to get online as it installs internet cafes in four of its sheltered housing schemes.
