Following the overwhelming success of Coastline Housing's first ever customer away day earlier this year, twice as many customers flocked to be part of the latest involvement event.
Over 250 customers of the Camborne based housing association turned out to sample the delights on offer at the away day held earlier this month at popular tourist attraction, Paradise Park near Hayle.
Nicki Highton, Neighbourhood & Involvement Facilitator at Coastline led the organisation of the free family fun day. "The event we held back in February was so well received, with customers keen to give their views, that we decided to repeat the winning formula," said Nicki.
Customers were invited to visit four consultation zones to speak with members of Coastline staff and their views sought on a range of issues. After taking part in the consultations, customers had their reward cards stamped, which they were able to redeem for vouchers. They were then given free access to the park to enjoy the amazing weather and the delights of the attractions.
88% of customers rated the day as 10 out of 10, with 100% of people saying they would definitely attend another Coastline event. "I was impressed with Coastline's involvement with its tenants and everything the organisation does. It was also great to meet up with other Coastline tenants," commented one customer.
"The feedback from customers has been fantastic," said Nicki, "and we are already starting to think about planning a similar event next year."
